Looking ahead to fig. iv shows that the bot can be programmed with 24 moves. With this in mind, the way to collect most resources is to follow the path shown below:
3.2
Using the interface in fig. iv, input the movement arrows necessary for the bot to traverse the optimal path in fig. ii, which will allow you to begin decoding a message using the key in fig. v. For example, the first three moves are “Up”, meaning the first three arrows are pointing at 3, 4 and 1 dots respectively on the upper edge of their boxes. Looking up (3,4,1), we see it is attached to the letter “W”. Repeat this process for each row to get the word “WEAPONRY”.

In order to complete this challenge, each team must share their mapping information with the other. Effectively giving the information shown on the completed map below. Using the clue given on the previous page, we can figure out that the signal amp should be placed in the Armoury, and using the Aurora elevation map, we can determine the location of the signal tower. From here, follow the conditions stated in the text to plot the two remaining locations. Then use the table in fig. vii to decipher the word:
“MUTUALLY”
Final Code
By combining both teams’ Log pages as though they were a double page spread, with the ‘border’ in the centre, as shown below, it is possible to decipher a final challenge:
“MARK DOWN THE POINT THE FOUR SPOTS ALREADY FOUND MUTUALLY CONVERGE”
In other words, make an ‘X’ between the four points already marked on your map to get a final co-oridnate and, in turn, your three-digit code.
